Last night was the final night of Prosser AAU soccer league 2008-2009 season. After the last game was played last week we needed to have team pics and a team party. After the team pictures the kids and parents went to a newly remolded McDonald's. The kids' ate and played; then we gave the coaches James and Carisa Stallcop a gift certificate to a local restaurant as a Thank-You for coaching. The kids were given awards as well for a job well done. They all had fun and played hard. This was Brendan's second season of soccer and he has had a great time. Now the decision for us is will Brendan play soccer or football in the fall; he wants to do both. Well we know he can't because of practice schedules.
Summer is upon us and Baseball is starting.... Tonight is his first practice for Prosser summer league. He started with T-Ball for 2 years then last year (2008) played mini ball and loved it. He likes hitting the ball pitched to him instead of using the tee. He is excited for baseball practice tonight and for his first game. I will keep all of you posted once we start and post a few pics.
