Baseball games have officially started...

Last week was Brendan's first week of Baseball games. They play Tuesday and Thursday nights for 6 weeks. He has been so excited for Baseball to start. He is playing for Prosser Benton Rea. The Prosser Summer Rec League has several teams for each age group so you really do not know until first practice who is on your team. He has several friends on his team but anyone that knows Brendan; knows he is outgoing and makes friends easily. This first week has been fun especially to see what they remember from last year. Brendan is hitting the ball hard and catching a few here and there. I just want him to have fun. The coaches this summer are great; thanks Jeff and Melissa for coaching our kids this summer. Looking forward to the rest of the games this summer.

Brendan making sure the batting helmet fits.

Rounding third base.....

Watching the rest of his team or pondering...

Thursday night we played and these pictures were taken right before the thunder, lightening, wind, rain and dust storm. We played two innings and in the matter of minutes the dust came rolling in over the hills and Brendan looked at me and said mom is that a "Tornado"? It wasn't a tornado but it was bad. The coaches called the game we all yelled great game and picked our chairs up and ran to our cars. It was amazing... Before we left; the game was fun to watch and Brendan's team played a team that has two very good friends of his on the team. It is cool; everyone cheers for everyone. Great team spirit. Brendan was catcher for this game. He liked it, something to do all of the time :))

Brendan's best buddy Parker Gamache. They have been friends
for a long time; since they were toddlers.
