Today is Brendan's 9th Birthday.... We celebrated with his friends' last weekend; this weekend we went home (Bremerton,WA) to see family and celebrate. We left Friday after work and stayed until Sunday. It was a great weekend; not only was it Brendan's Birthday but Father's Day too.
Saturday Bumpa took Brendan shopping and to ColdStone Creamery; Brendan picked out an "Easton" bat and new batting gloves. Grandpa gave him a ball that he has had for quite sometime; it has a story behind it and he gave it to Brendan. Before we left the house to go to a BBQ/party we had a game of Baseball in the backyard. I took some pictures of course but the laughter I heard from Brendan is more than a photo can say. He loves playing Baseball with his Bumpa and I'm glad we were able to come home to celebrate his Birthday with my mom and dad.
Happy Birthday Brendan and I love you so much....I still can't believe you are 9 years old. You are always going to be my "Little Big Man" xoxoxo
