Cal Ripken "Prosser Blue"

Monday night was the last game of the season for the "Prosser Blue" and what a fun season it has been to watch. This was Brendan's first year playing for the "Cal Ripken League". He caught a few balls, hit the ball hard and had fun all at the same time and didn't want to see the season end. Fortunately he has all summer to practice (for fun) and has already asked to go to a Mariners Game this summer too. We had some strange weather between wind(lots of) and rain; we still played and they never gave up. Great job to everyone on the team and thank-you to the coaches Lynn Channel and Jaime Malave.

Getting ready to leave for the game.

A very proud Mom!

Play Ball!!!

It's official Baseball season has started and the Prosser Blue (Brendan's team) played their first game Monday night against a team from Zillah. We play twice a week now for the next 5 weeks. The boys' are so excited to play Cal Ripken Little League 7-8 year old. It was fun to watch; Brendan played out field Monday night but tonight played 2nd base and early in the game he caught a ball hit right to him. Great job Brendan; and his smile was bigger than the catch :))

We went from Basketball right into Baseball and Brendan loves it.... He is a lefty like his Bumpa and he is showing all of his teammates how is cousin Casey pitches... Casey is 20 and plays for Bellevue College...

I'm looking forward to watching Baseball this Spring and as the weather gets warmer catching some sun. So far it has been cold; we need blanket's. Oh well enjoying every moment. I will keep you posted as the season goes on but here are a few pictures LOL. Brendan I am so proud of you and happy you are having so much fun.... :)) I love you!!!

Coloring Easter Eggs!!

Tonight Brendan and I colored Easter Eggs and he is quite
the pro at it. It was fun watching him color the eggs with
egg dropper; he tried really hard to do two colors on alot
of the eggs'. They are bright and colorful and will be so
yummy to eat. Bumpa (Brendan's Grandpa) will be
excited that we are bringing his own dozen this weekend.
Great job Brendan and as always mommy had so
much fun with you...

Birthday, Baseball and Bunco!

Yesterday was a busy and very fun day...
We went to lunch @ Red Robin

Brendan and his friend Ian Moreno told the
waitress it was my Birthday earlier in the week;
so yes I was surprised with singing and an ice
cream sundae. Thank-You Boys; you are very sweet!!

Then after running a few errands; we went to
Dust Devil Stadium in Pasco to watch my cousin
Casey play baseball. He pitches for the Bellevue
Bulldogs and they played the Spokane Sasquatch.
I was so excited to see Casey (I miss my family; not
living near them) and watch him play. Brendan and
Ian were great at cheering the team on and of course
"Casey". The weather was perfect. Glad we got to
see him before the game for a quick hug and good
luck; we didn't get to say goodbye... Great job today
Casey; very proud of you...
